How do I adjust the size of Column A with the statements/questions to be responded to? I can adjust the whole table by pixels. I can also adjust additional columns but not Column A. Earlier versions had that capability.

The width of the first column is equal to the total width of the matrix, less the total of the other columns. So for example, if you wanted column A to be 300 pixels and your total matrix width was 1000 pixels, you would want to make your other columns total 700 pixels in order to "force" the width of column A to 300 pixels.
